On July 11, 2009, my long-awaited, and incredibly tough-to-get, registered trademark arrived in the mail: “The Work-life Balance Expert” which relates not simply to any program that I offer, but specifically to me. I am pleased, relieved, humbled, and honored. What a feeling, after first writing Breathing Space in 1989, to be the only person on Earth with this distinction from the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
